My goal is to paint vibrant images of Canadian landscapes capturing the tones of things we see everyday around us, like a field of stubble, a cloudy sky, or a snow-covered slough. I particularly study and explore transitions, the edges of things: where the mountain meets the clouds, where the horizon first meets the sky, and the changing shades of spring and autumn.
I also paint scenes and people from the countries I have worked in or visited in the past, including Africa, Asia, South America and Central America.
